The IDGTE office is located in a modern office complex in Bedford. General meetings and presentation of technical papers are held at various locations which are, as far as possible, related in some way to the industries served by IDGTE. These meetings are excellent networking opportunities and provide insight into developments and operational experience in the fields of engine and gas turbine technology.

The Institution has members in over 40 countries. Its vision is to be the leading independent, international, professional body serving the interests of those involved in the design, development, manufacture, application, operation and maintenance of reciprocating internal combustion engines and gas turbines, their related fields, and emerging energy conversion technologies.
