Thursday, Nov 26, 2009

With the memory fresh of winter supply disruptions in Europe, and in line with government calls for better facilities, UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) is exploring how international business can partner with British firms to improve gas storage in the UK.UKTI recently supported an international mission of leading gas storage operators from Australia, Norway and the US to the UK.

The international delegates met British companies to explore opportunities for partnering with operators on onshore and offshore projects, new engineering and design work, and supply chain development. The group attended a seminar in London on 13th October, where they learned about the UK Gas Storage market.
