Despite tough competition from Germany and Norway, London, with the help of UK Trade & Investment, secured the second European Future Energy Forum in 2010. This forum will bring together key decision makers from over 40 countries worldwide to discuss the future of the world's energy needs.  Topics covered will include European Energy Policy, Carbon Management, Bio Fuels, Waste to Energy, Green Buildings, clean transport and more.

Developed by MASDAR, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) global energy company, the forum is a spin off from the World Future Energy Summit held anually in Abu Dhabi.

The first Future Energy Forum was held with great success in Bilbao, Spain with almost 4000 attendees representing 43 nations. The event brings together businesses and organisations that have solutions and opportunities for the global renewable energy and environmental technology markets with large international investors and government decision makers.
