Carbon Trust's £18m Boost for UK Clean Tech Sector

The Carbon Trust has been granted an additional £18 million funding to invest in the UK clean energy sector, providing a boost for clean-tech start-ups in the UK. The additional money has been provided by the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) to help address the shortage of investment capital for early stage UK clean energy companies.

HRH Duke Of York celebrates 20 Years of BG in Egypt

BG celebrate 20 years of successful energy partnership in Egypt. A reception to mark the occasion was held at the British Embassy in Cairo this week in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Andrew the Duke of York, UK Trade & Investment's Special Representative for International Trade. The event was jointly hosted by H.E. the Honorable Dominic Asquith, British Ambassador to Egypt andSami Iskander, BG Group's Executive Vice President for Africa, Middle East and Asia, and was attended by H.E. Sameh Fahmy, Egyptian Minister of Petroleum.
