Can I become a Partner Organisation?

If you are, for instance, a trade organisation representing a group of companies or a government agency working to develop industry in your region or sub-sector of energy you will be able to join. Please contact info@ukenergyexcellence,com  to learn more.

How do I contribute or give feedback?

We welcome feedback and additional supporting evidence for the messaging framework. Use the contact us page to get in touch.

I am an individual – can I become a Partner Organisation?

No. The site would become unwieldy if this approach were taken. There are a number of organisations who represent individuals within the energy industry many of which will be or will become partner organisations. We recommend that you review what they might offer to individuals.

I am an Overseas visitor – what will I gain from using this site?

The intent of the site is to create a portal to the UK Energy community which will allow overseas visitors, companies, organisations or academics to find information relevant to their needs by linking the UK Energy community through this site. There will also be daily news updates and regular news on energy events within the UK and worldwide.

I am a UK visitor – what will I gain from using this site?

The UK visitor has much to gain from this site. Awareness of the UK Energy Excellence project, access to branding and promotional material, access to market intelligence and importantly news of and links to the wider UK energy community. UK visitors will also be able to submit articles or news on their business, scientific or academic successes through the Share Your News part of the site.

I represent a UK company – can I become a Partner Organisation?

Not at this stage though further developments in the website may accomodate this.

What do you mean by "Marketing Your business"?

This element of the site is aimed at UK companies only and registration is required. It is designed for UK companies who may need some support in developing marketing plans to support overseas exports sales and campaigns.

It offers branding material and associated messaging which will help those companies who will value being associated with the UK Energy Excellence brand.

It explains the brand and how it must be used and invites UK companies to download supporting evidence to support their own marketing.

What is a Partner Organisation?

The UK Energy Excellence strategy is designed to link the wide and varied elements of the UK Energy Industry. We plan to do this by linking to organisations which represent sectors, sub-sectors, government, academia and other bodies which include within their community a wide range of knowledge and capability in for instance their company membership. The UK Energy Website is open to all organisations to explain where they fit into the UK Energy community and to link to this site. The benefit is that visitors to the UK Energy Excellence site will have a route to their own sites.

What is the UK Energy Excellence Website for?

UK Energy Excellence is a 5 year campaign announced by Government in December 2007 to promote the UK Energy sector around the world aiming to ensure that the UK Energy Industry hold and build upon their share of the Energy market which is expected to increase globally to $22 trillion by 2030. This website is part of this campaign which is being managed by the UK Energy Excellence board and UK Trade and Investment.
