Premier Strikes Oil On Blabaer Prospect, North Sea Premier Oil has made an oil discovery in the Cook formation on the Blabaer prospect in the North Sea. BG Norge, the operator of production license 374 S, is in the process of completing the drilling of wildcat well 34/5-1 S located about 25km northeast of the Snorre field in the North Sea.

E.ON Posts Stable Earnings Despite Drop In Sales E.ON has posted an adjusted EBITDA of EUR13.5bn for fiscal 2009, about 1% up compared to prior-year. The sales for the year were down by 6% to EUR82bn compared to EUR87bn in the previous year.
